Nikon Announces Recall on its EN-EL15 Battery

Nikon has decided to recall some EN-EL15 batteries used in the Nikon D7000, D800, D800E and Nikon 1 V1 cameras.   To identify whether your battery is affected by the issue: Identify the serial number of your battery.

Another tough camera from Nikon is now available in the market, the Nikon Coolpix AW100. Nikon CoolPix S1200pj with Built-in Projector

Nikon has publicized another digital camera with built-in projector, the CoolPix S1200pj. The CoolPix S1200pj is the successor CoolPix S1100pj. The CoolPix S1200pj has a 40 percent brighter internal projector and three times larger projection contrast than its predecessor, CoolPix S1100pj. This great improvement is because of the new three-lamp (red, green and blue LEDs) structure which can replicate the full sRGB gamut and has a contrast ratio of 200:1.
