Intel Celeron 847, ULV, 1.1GHz, 2MB L3 Cache

The Intel Celeron 847 is an ultra low voltage dual core processor designed for entry level ultraportable laptop PC. It is based on Sandy Bridge architecture which uses 32 nanometer technology while some of the features such as Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost and some others are deactivated. Moreover, this Intel Celeron 847 features 64 Bit support, Thermal Monitoring, DDR3 Memory Controller, Enhanced Speedstep, Execute Disable Bit and more. It also has an integrated graphics controller called Intel HD Graphics which has the ability of rendering HD movies with ease.

 In addition, this Intel Celeron 847 dual-core processor has a clock speed of 1.1 GHz. It also has a Level cache of 128kB, level 2 cache of 512kB and Level 3 cache of 2MB. This has Thermal Design Power of 17 watts which makes this ULV processor suitable for laptop PC with sizes ranging from 11.6 inches and above.

With regards to performance, this Intel Celeron 847 dual-core processor has a PassMark rating of 1044. This is higher compared to the popular AMD E2-1800 with a score of 812; AMD E1-1200 with a rating of 725; and as powerful as AMD E2-3000M with a rating of 1014.
