AMD C-50 Accelerated Processor

The AMD C-50 is an accelerated dual core processor for netbooks and tablet PC. The AMD C-50 features a potent integrated graphics controller and a single channel DDR3(L)-1066 memory controller. Its successor, the AMD C-60 features the same base clock speed but it has Turbo Core features that speeds-up up to 1.33 GHz.

The AMD C-50 has 128 kB level 1 cache and 1024 kB level 2 cache, 512KB level 2 cache per core. Since it offers only 1GHz of clock speed, still, this APU is still labeled for netbook regions and suited only for low demanding tasks.

The AMD C-50 has an integrated GPU called Radeon HD 6250 graphics card which offers 80 shaders and an UVD3 video processor. In comparison to the slow GMA 3150 in the Intel Atom processors, the Radeon HD6250 GPU performs better and about as fast as the Nvidia ION graphics card.
