Intel Pentium B940

The Intel Pentium B940 is a dual core processor that is usually found on entry-level notebook PCs. This processor is constructed on the Sandy Bridge design. Many features that are usually found on Core i-series processors like TurboBoost, HyperThreading, AES, Virtualization (VT-x and VT-d), Trusted Execution or Intel Quick Sync are disabled. The Intel Pentium B940 processor has an integrated graphics controller dubbed Intel HD Graphics which is based on the HD Graphics 2000 clocked at 650 / 1100.

The Intel Pentium B940 has a clock speed of 2.0GHz with Level 1 Cache that is about 128 KB, Level 2 Cache which is about 512 KB, Level 3 Cache which 2048 KB. This clock speed is slower than its siblings B950, B960 and B970. It has 64 Bit support. It has a maximum TDP of 35 watts which makes it best for 14-inch and above laptop size.
