Intel Pentium 997 : Another ULV laptop processor, 1.6GHz, 2MB L3 Cache

The Intel Pentium 997 is an Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) mobile processor designed primarily for entry-level laptop PC. This mobile processor is based on Sandy Bridge technology without having some features like Hyper-Threading, Turbo Boost, Virtualization (VT-x, VT-d), AES and some other. This Intel Pentium 997 runs at the clock speed of 1.60 GHz. It also has a Level 3 cache of 2 MB. Since this laptop processor is based on Sandy Bridge processor, this Intel Pentium 997 has an integrated graphics controller called Intel HD Graphics capable of rendering high definition movies.
