Another affordable yet powerful laptop PC equipped with accelerated processor is now available in the market, the Lenovo G505 – 59373013. This inexpensive laptop PC comes packed with AMD Quad-Core A6-5200 accelerated processor which is powerful enough for daily computing needs. It has a PassMark Rating of 2686 which means that it is as powerful as Intel Core i3-3217U.It has an integrated graphics controller called Radeon HD 8400 which is capable of rendering high definition movies with ease.

AMD A6-3400M Quad-Core APU
Another Accelerated Processing Unit from AMD is the AMD A6-3400M. The AMD A6-3400M, codenamed Llano is a quad-core processor for entry level laptops. This APU features an integrated Radeon HD 6520G graphics card. The AMD A6-3400M processor core has a base clock speed of 1.4 GHz and is capable of automatically overclock to up to 2.3 GHz, thanks to the TurboCore Technology.
AMD E-Series E-350 APU
The AMD E-350 is another Fusion chip from Advance Micro Devices. The Fusion chip also called as APU or Accelerated Processing Unit is a chip wherein the CPU and GPU chips are combined together for efficient and better performance not only by the computing power but also the graphics power of the system aside from its low power consumptions. The AMD E-350 APU AMD E-350 is intended to compete with Intel's low-voltage mobile Pentium and Core 2 Duo processors such as the Pentium dual-core SU4100, Core 2 Duo SU7300 and Core 2 Duo SU9400, and to leave behind Intel integrated graphics.

AMD C-60 APU
The AMD C-60 (codename Ontario) is a 9W APU which replaces the AMD C-50 APU. It features relatively powerful integrated graphics card and a single channel DDR3-1066 memory controller. Both C-60 and C-50 feature two Bobcat cores that can access 512KB level 2 cache per core, but the C-60 adds additional features which is called AMD Turbo Core support both on the CPU and GPU. Compared to the Intel Atom processors, the Bobcat architecture utilizes an out-of-order execution and for that reason this is faster at the same clock speed, but it is underpowered it terms of its performance to similar clocked Penryn (Celeron) or Danube (Athlon II) cores.

AMD E Series E-300 APU
Another Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) coming from AMD is the AMD E Series E-300. The AMD E-300 is the upgraded version of the single-core AMD E-240. The AMD E-300 APU is consists of two Bobcat cores which means that the new E-Series APU are all dual-cores. The CPU clock speed is down by a bit compared to E-240, it has a clock speed of 1.3GHz compared to E-240’s 1.5GHz but we all know that the clock speed is not the only basis to measure the overall performance of a CPU but also some other things like the number of core it has.
