Sony has revealed another laptop PC equipped with new entry-level Ivy Bridge processor, the Sony VAIO E Series SVE1513TCXW. This laptop PC comes in aluminum body in seafoam white style with a diamond-cut VAIO logo white makes this laptop look fine. One thing that I like with this new laptop PC from Sony is that, it has backlit keyboard with 10-key numeric pad which allows you to use it even in low-light environments, the 10-key numeric keypad is also very useful whenever you want to use your laptop PC to input huge amount of numbers, without it, it would be very hard to input lot of numbers.
Intel Pentium 2020M processor which comes with 2MB cache and runs at about 2.4GHz. Since this is just an entry level processor it does not have Turbo Boost nor Hyper-Threading technology. Even though it does not support those features this is still powerful than AMD A6-440M, AMD E2-1800, and Pentium B980.
The Sony VAIO E Series SVE1513TCXW laptop PC also offers USB 3.0 port; 3 USB 2.0 ports one of which has sleep-and-charge capability; Atheros WB225 Wi-Fi adapter with 802.11b/g/n wireless technology standards; Bluetooth 4.0 + HS interface; Gigabit Ethernet LAN; VGA and HDMI output port. The 6-cell lithium-ion battery provides with enough battery life.
Moreover, this Sony VAIO E Series SVE1513TCXW laptop PC runs with Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit operating system. For the dimension, this measures 1.3 inch x 14.7 inches x 10 inches and weighs about 6 pounds. You can have this laptop for about $530.
