The E1-1200 is a Dual-Core Accelerated Processor coming from AMD which has a code name Zacate. This APU is designed for entry-level notebooks and netbook PCs. This Accelerated Processor Unit made up of DDR3 memory controller; Graphics processing unit; and PCI Express.
The AMD E1-1200 dual-core APU runs at the CPU clock speed of 1.4GHz (1400 MHz). Further to that, it also features 1MB level 2 cache, and 128 KB L1 cache. This APU supports also other features such as MMX(+), SSE(1,2,3,3S,4A), AMD-V, and 64-bit technology.
Moreover, this Zacate Accelerated Processing Unit has an integrated graphics processor dubbed Radeon HD 7310 which is comparable to entry-level dedicated GPU in terms of performance. The integrated GPU in this E1-1200 APU is clocked at 500 MHz which is almost as powerful as Radeon HD 6310 which is clocked ranging from 488 to 500 MHz depending on the APU.
Relating to other processors in terms of PassMark Rating, this AMD E1-1200 dual-core Accelerated Processor has a PassMark Rating of about 577. This is slower compared to Intel Atom N2800 with a rating of 723, Intel Core i5-3320M with a rating of 3918, Intel Core i7 2640M with a rating of 4209, AMD A10-4600M with a rating of 5129, and AMD A8-4500M with a rating of 4174, but quite faster compared to AMD C-50 with a rating of 453.
Furthermore, this AMD E1-1200 dual-core Accelerated Processor has Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 18 Watts which makes it best suited for small notebook PCs.

The AMD E1-1200 (codename Zacate) is a dual core processor for small notebooks and netbooks. It offers a relatively powerful integrated graphics card and a single channel DDR3-1066 memory controller. Compared to the old E-300, which is based on the same chip, the E1-1200 offers a 100 MHz higher CPU clock rate.
