Lenovo ThinkPad 42823SU Laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad 42823SU laptop comes with Second Generation Intel Core i7-2720QM quad core processor that features 6MB L3 cache and 2.20 GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz and offers smart 8-way processing because of Hyper Threading technology. It has integrated graphics controller called Intel HD Graphics 3000 which is capable of playing high definition movies with ease and a dedicated one called NVIDIA Quadro 1000M.


In terms of connectivity, this Lenovo ThinkPad 42823SU offers options such as USB ports; VGA port; DisplayPort; Bluetooth 3.0 interface; Integrated 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet LAN; headphone jack; microphone jack; Wireless LAN. It measures 14.7” x 9.7” x 1.4” and weighs just 5.7 pounds. It has 9-cell Lithium Ion battery that can give you more than 10 hours of battery life.

The Lenovo ThinkPad 42823SU laptop runs on Genuine Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit Edition operating system. It is priced at around $2500.

Actually, fans of the Thinkpads usually demand the track point (nub). It's a classic feature of the Thinkpad design and the reason is it's convenient for typists.
Basically, if you're doing a lot of typing then it's more convenient to use the track point to move the cursor than to take your hands away from the keyboard and use either the touch pad or mouse. Since you don't have to move your hands from the keyboard to use the track point and you usually don't need more than basic mouse control while typing.
