LG HW300Y DLP Projector

LG has made available another DLP projector, the HW300Y. This LG HW300Y is a travel-friendly projector that offers 1280 x 800 native resolution display with 300 ANSI lumens brightness that produces clear, exceptionally bright pictures, 1000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of LED lamp life which promise to be working up to two decades after the projector comes out the box. Furthermore, the LG HW300Y DLP projector also comes with a built-in DLNA connectivity, 2x 1W stereo speakers and several connectivity options such as HDMI, RGB composite, component and USB.


Acoording to the company “The HW300Y’s broadband function delivers a host of popular internet services directly onto the big screen, including pre-paid HD movies, real-time weather information from AccuWeather, and the most popular social networking sites. Its DLNA connectivity means the HW300Y also offers simple, wireless access to all viewers’ digital content stored on DLNA-compatible devices, including mobile phones, TVs and PCs.”

The price of this DLP projector is still unknown at this time.

DLP technology is based on a single chip that contains millions of tiny mirrors. The mirror system is activated to receive digital signals. This enables them to an image projected onto a large screen.
