The New and Improved MSI X370 with AMD E-450

The Taiwanese laptop manufacturer MSI has improved and upgraded its laptop series MSI X370. The new MSI X370 is now powered by the new Brazos platform fusion chip E-450. It is said that the new AMD E-450 is an improved E-350 APU chip. It is now quite faster than E-350 which runs at a speed of 1.65GHz compared to E-350’s clock speed which is about 1.6 GHz. The E-450 powered MSI X370 is also integrated with Radeon HD 6320 graphics card which is way better than Radeon HD 632 graphics card that is integrated in AMD E-350 APU chip.

Both graphics chip runs at the speed of 500MHz, the only difference is that the Radeon HD 6320 graphics card supports Turbo Core Technology which will automatically overclock to 600MHz when need arises, it has to be so designed to prolong and improve the notebook’s battery life. With 4-cell battery, this notebook will do its purpose for approximately 4 hrs. Furthermore, the new and improved MSI X370 weighs about 1.4 kg or 3.1 lbs. This is lighter considering that it has a screen size of 13.4 inches diagonally.

The new MSI X370 sports 4GB DDR3 RAM memory, 500GB SATA hard disk drive, 13.4-inch screen with LED backlight at 1366 × 768 pixels, 1.3 megapixel webcam, SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC card reader and wireless connections such as WiFi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 2.1.
