Hewett Packard has announced their first ultrabook named HP Folio 13 in Australia. This ultraportable laptop features a diagonal high-definition (HD) BrightView display with 1366 x 768 effective resolution, a 1.4GHz Sandy Bridge Intel Core i3 or 1.6GHz Sandy Bridge Intel Core i5 processor chip, a 4GB RAM, a 128GB Solid State Drive, an SD card slot, Gigabit Ethernet, USB ports and an HDMI port. Furthermore, the HP Folio weighs just 3.3 pounds and combines the cool industrial design usually found on consumer products with the security and usability business users demand.
The 13.3-inch HP Folio 13 is less than 0.7 inch (18 millimeters) thick and HP claims that it is the longest-lasting battery in the class. They said that the battery can last up to nine hours which is up to two hours longer than the MacBook Air. The HP Folio 13 can also be designed with a range of Microsoft Windows 7 operating systems, including Windows 7 Professional and three-year limited warranty is obtainable through a discretionary HP Care Pack.
