HP Envy 15 and 17 Laptops

Hewett Packard has released Envy 15 and 17, which is completely redesigned inside and out. These new laptop models preserve their sexy brushed aluminum exterior. The Envy 15 and 17’s framework gets a brand-new makeover with matte black lids, silver palm-rests, and added the Beats by Dr. Dre branding through a logo on the recently added analog volume knob and well-ordered red border around the backlit chiclet keyboard.

Like their forerunners, the new Envy 15 and 17 comes with 15.6-in and 17.3-in alternatives, but these displays are not just your typical LCD screens. The displays are of the Radiance Infinity that is much brighter than the usual screens.

The Envy 15 and 17 series are the highest-end laptops Hewett Packard propositions to customers and consequently reveals in the quality of its hardware. Inside, the HP Envy 15 sports Intel sandy Bridge Core i5-2430M processor chip, 6 GB of DDR3 memory, 500GB hard disk drive with speed of 7200RPM, and AMD Radeon graphics with 1GB of video memory. HP envy 15 is also equipped with a DVD drive and Beats incorporation with six-channel speakers and a subwoofer. On the other hand, the HP envy 17 has the same specs as Envy 15. In addition, HP also offers Envy 17 3D, which sports the same specs as the Envy 17, but consist of a full High Definition Radiance 3D 120Hz display, a pair of active shutter 3D glasses, and a Blu-ray High Definition player for the ultimate media engagement. According to HP these laptops offers nine hours of battery juice with the Envy 15 and nine and a half hours with the Envy 17.

Moreover, the left side of the laptop offers the slot-loading optical disc drive, two USB 3.0 ports, a microphone jack and dual headphone jacks. On the right side of the notebook you will find USB port 2.0, an SD card slot, Kensington lock slot, HDMI out, display port out, Gigabit Ethernet, and the power jack.

Thanks for the review, I've been looking through Laptops for awhile. It's a hard decision with so many out there.
