One of the best manufacturers of ultraportables, ASUS, has another something special for you. The upcoming ASUS U24E. This new notebook is expected to be released in Japan this November. The ASUS U24E comes with a 11.6-inch with an effective resolution of 1366x768 pixels and weighs in at approximately 3.3 pounds/1.5 kilograms and measures up to an inch thick, this is somewhat thicker or bulkier compared to other notebooks that are lined-up for ultrabook classification.

The ASUS U24E sports an Intel Core i5-2430M (second generation chip from Intel) and backed-up by 4GB RAM and a 750GB SATA hard drive. It is packed also with Bluetooth 3.0, 2 Altec Lansing speakers, card reader, Wi-Fi connectivity, a webcam, three USB ports: two of which is USB 3.0 and one is USB 2.0, and an HDMI port. This notebook is packed with a 6-cell battery that can give a power of up to six hours of use.
