The Lenovo ThinkPad 42824ZU laptop offers Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7-2760QM quad core processor which is clocked at 2.2 GHz but since this processor supports Turbo Boost Technology it can reach up to 3.1 GHz. It has an integrated graphics controller dubbed Intel HD Graphics 3000 which is faster than the older Intel HD Graphics and a dedicated one which is called NVIDIA Quadro 2000M which is optimized for stability and performance in professional applications like CAD, DCC, medicine, or visualisation areas.

nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448
NVIDIA has made available its newest graphics card model dubbed GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 cores. This is a limited edition launch and targets only specific markets in North America and Europe. Countries included are the United States and Canada in North America; and the UK, France, Germany, Russia, and the Nordics in Europe. The new graphics card is constructed on the 40 nanometer GF110 GPU in its place of the GF114 that the regular GTX 560 Ti is based on. This permited NVIDIA to add 64 more CUDA cores (448 vs. 384), that is roughly 25% more memory (1280 MB vs. 1024), and a 25% wider memory bus (320 bit vs. 256).
