Toshiba BD50 E-book reader Powered by Android OS

The Toshiba BD50 is a new Android e-book reader that boasts with 1GHz Freescale i.MX535 processor which is enhanced for both performance and power to provide the demands of high-end, cutting-edge applications that requires mobility and long battery life.

The Toshiba BD50 e-book reader offers 8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi that supports a/b/n standards, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and microSD card slot. This e-book reader also gives you access Toshiba’s BookPlace store that contains around 50,000 books and magazines.

It weighs just about 330 grams and equipped with 7-inch LCD display with a WSVGA resolution. Toshiba will offer this Toshiba BD50 Android e-Book reader in February of this year. No words of pricing about this e-book reader up to this moment.
