Lenovo ThinkPad X130e a Rugged Laptop for Students

Lenovo will be having its next rugged ThinkPad PC, the Lenovo ThinkPad X130e. Under the hood, the Lenovo ThinkPad X130e will sport any of the following processor options: Intel Core i3-2367M processor, or AMD Fusion E-300 or E-450 APUs. These laptops may have 2GB of RAM which is upgradeable to 8GB, up to 500GB in storage, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 6-cell battery that is rated for 8.5 hours of battery life. Lenovo might be adding also its RapidBoot technology in which the system is promised to boot-up in less than 20 seconds.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X130e also has three USB 2.0 sockets, an HDMI output port, webcam, VGA, Ethernet LAN, a combined headphone / mic port and a 4-in-1 memory card reader. It will be available this December at a price starting from $470.
