WD VELOCIRAPTOR Now Available with 1 TB Capacity

Western Digital has made available another state-of-the-art drive to its pile of high-performance hard drives the new WD VelociRaptor. The WD Velociraptor provides an unmatched combination of performance, capacity and reliability.

The WD VelociRaptor will come in capacities of 1 TB, 500 GB and 250 GB that spins at about 10000 RPM. The WD Velociraptor is for everyone, whether you’re photographers, videographers and digital artists, whatsoever your areas of expertise.

What makes it different from other drives is its ultra-cool operation which makes it consume less idle power, but utilizes similar active power as the previous generation WD VelociRaptor while presenting greater capacity and performance. The WD Velociraptor comes with a halogen-free design which makes it environment-friendly.

 The new WD VelociRaptor 2.5-inch hard drive has an IcePack enclosure with a mounting frame of about 3.5-inch and built-in heat sink. It is a factory customization that fits the drive into a standard 3.5-inch system bay and keeps the hard drive cooler when mounted in a high-performance desktop or workstation system.

The WD VelociRaptor 1 TB can be obtained at the price of about Php 13, 795.00 while the 500 GB version costs around Php 9, 295.00 and the 250 GB version is Php 7, 195.00.
