HP Pavilion g6-1d08dx - Pentium B950, Intel HD Graphics, 15.6 Inch Display

The HP Pavilion g6-1d08dx is an entry level laptop that offers special features for a much lesser price. The highlights of this laptop include dual core processor, optical drive, webcam, large screen size, Bluetooth, HP Imprint finish in pewter and more.
This HP Pavilion g6-1d08dx comes equipped with 15.6 inch LED-backlit high-definition widescreen display with BrightView technology and 1366 x 768 resolution; 4GB DDR3 SDRAM; 320GB hard drive that spins at about 5400 RPM; Built-in webcam with integrated digital microphone; Multiformat media reader for Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO and xD-Picture Card formats; and 6-cell lithium-ion battery.

Although it is just an entry level laptop, HP Pavilion g6-1d08dx, its processor is powerful enough to perform several tasks such as word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Photoshop and more. Its processing muscle is done by Intel Pentium B950 dual core processor that features 2MB L3 cache and 2.1GHz processor speed. In terms of PassMark Rating, this processor has a rating of 1976, this is faster/higher compared to AMD’s E-450 that has a rating of 768 but almost as powerful as Intel Core i5-2467M with a PassMark rating of about 2172 and AMD A4-3300M with a PassMark rating of 2196. It has an integrated graphics controller which is more powerful than older Intel GMA processor and almost as powerful as entry-level discreet graphics card, called as Intel HD Graphics.

Further to that, this HP Pavilion g6-1d08dx laptop offers quite a lot of connectivity options like 3 high-speed USB 2.0 ports; Built-in high-speed wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n); Bluetooth 2.0 interface; Built-in 10/100Base-T Ethernet LAN; HDMI and VGA port. It comes in HP Imprint finish in pewter style. This laptop is powered by Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit operating system. It is priced at around $400.
