Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 : Aquamarine, Atom N2600, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600

The Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 is a netbook PC that has the same features as the Acer Aspire One AOD270-1835 like the new Intel Atom N2600 dual core processor that features 800MHz frontside bus, 1MB L2 cache, 1.6GHz processor speed and smart four way processing because of Hyper Threading technology. This Atom N2600 processor is less powerful compared to its sibling the Atom N2800. It has an integrated graphics controller called Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 which is said to be more powerful compared to the GPU integrated in older atom processors like Atom N570. It features 64MB dedicated video memory and supports Microsoft DirectX 9. The only difference of this netbook from the Acer Aspire One AOD270-1835 is its color.



The Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 netbook PC is equipped with 10.1 inch WSVGA LED-backlit display with CrystalBrite technology and 1024 x 600 resolution; multi-gesture touchpad; 1GB DDR3 SDRAM memory which is expandable to 2GB; 320GB Serial ATA hard drive that spins at about 5400 RPM – much better if it has at least 7200 RPM; media reader for Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO and xD-Picture Card formats; and built-in 0.3MP webcam with microphone.

In terms of connectivity, this Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 netbook PC offers you with 3 high-speed USB 2.0 ports – much better if it has USB 3.0; 10/100 LAN; high-speed wireless LAN (802.11b/g/n); VGA and HDMI output port. It has 4400 mAh 6-cell lithium-ion battery for up to 8 hours of battery life. It measures 0.9 x 10.1 x 7.2 inches and weighs about 1.87 pounds. The only difference of this netbook from the Acer Aspire One AOD270-1835 is its color (Aquamarine).

This Acer Aspire One AOD270-1679 is powered by 32-bit Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition operating system. It is priced at about $280.
