MSI Wind U180 Available for Pre-order in Germany

Under the hood, the MSI Wind U180 netbook sports 1.86GHz dual-core Intel Atom N2800 which is designed for tablets and netbooks. The Intel Atom N2800 runs at 1.86GHz clock speed and has maximum RAM, supported by the chip, of 4GB DDR3 (2x) 64 bit single channel. The graphics are controlled by PowerVR SGX545 which supports native decoding of H.264, WMV9 as well as MP4. It has an integrated graphics controller called Intel GMA 3650.


Moreover, this MSI Wind U180 netbook PC is packed with several connectivity standards such as Ethernet LAN; WIFI technology; USB ports; and HDMI output port. The MSI Wind U180 is equipped with 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with 1024 x 600 screen resolution; 1GB DDR3 SDRAM; 320/750 GB HDD or 512GB SSD; optional USB-based DVD and Blu-ray burners; built-in 0.3MP webcam and microphone; and built-in SD / MMC card reader. This MSI Wind U180 has c-cell Lithium-ion battery that can give you more battery juice. The MSI Wind U180 is expected to be available at CES next week but is now available for pre-order in Germany.

The MSI Wind U180 notebook PC runs on 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 Starter operating system. It costs around $450.
