Casio G-SHOCK GB-6900 with Bluetooth LE Technology

Casio will be launching the new G-SHOCK GB-6900 wristwatch with built-in Bluetooth LE watch this coming March 16th for the Japanese market. This Casio G-SHOCK GB-6900 will be offered in red, black or white color.

This wristwatch implements Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) technology - consumes a fraction of the energy compared to other Bluetooth versions. This is compatible with the NEC Medias LTE N-04D, to be released this year, and Medias PP N-01D Android smartphones. The Casio G-SHOCK GB-6900 is capable of synchronizing with the above mentioned Bluetooth LE-enabled smartphones which permits users to show incoming calls, emails or SMS messages on the Casio G-SHOCK GB-6900’s display. As its name suggests, the Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) technology consumes less power than the classic Bluetooth technology.
