The Acer LU.SG50C.001 notebook PC is equipped with 11.6-inch WXGA LED-backlit TFT-LCD high-definition widescreen display with CineCrystal technology and 1366 x 768 resolution. The Acer LU.SG50C.001 laptop sports Intel® Atom™ dual-core processor N570 that features 667MHz frontside bus, 1MB L2 cache and 1.66GHz processor speed. Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 that features two processor cores that has been clocked at 200 MHz.

For that reason, the performance of this graphics controller is only a tad better than the old GMA 950 found in many Netbooks with N270 Atom CPUs and only suited for some low demanding 3D games in low details.

The Acer LU.SG50C.001 also features 2GB PC3-10666 DDR3 RAM, 16GB solid state drive, built-in webcam and microphone, multi-in-1 media reader that supports Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Reduced-Size MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO and xD-Picture Card formats, multitouch trackpad and a 6-cell lithium-ion battery for extra power which is good when you’re away from the main source. In terms of connectivity, the Acer LU.SG50C.001 notebook comes with Ethernet port, 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN, Bluetooth 3.0 interface, 2 high-speed USB 2.0 ports, and an HDMI output port.

The Acer LU.SG50C.001 netbook PC runs on Google Chrome operating system. It is now available for about $330.
