Acer Aspire S3-951, the MacBook Air Alternative?
MacBook air is considered as the thinnest (?) laptop available in the market today. Will that statement still be true in the next days to come? Many seem goggling now on the Acers next big move on providing us their new lines of notebook computers, the Acer Ultrabooks. Acer’s first Ultrabook model is the Acer Aspire S3-951. The initial wave of Intel-based Ultrabooks were so designed to be a good alternative to the MacBook Air and is now available, this October, with a price tag of USD900.00. In the Philippines its price is more or less 45,000 pesos for the Acer Aspire S3-951-2464G34iss model.
The new Acer Aspire S3-951 has a 13.3-inch screen with a hard drive capacity of 320GB. For the S3-951-2464G34iss model, it is powered by 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-2467M with a clock speed of 1.6Hz and with Turbo Boost up to 2.3GHz and 3MB L3 cache processor. The Acer Aspire S3-951-2464G34iss is packed with 4GB of RAM and a 20GB solid state drive which was loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System.
